Our Goats

We have a closed herd of purebred Nubian Dairy Goats. Our herd is divided into two different work forces. One is the milkers; they are responsible for milk production and weed removal in their pastures.
The other is the weed crew. They are responsible for weed removal throughout other areas of the farm. They do an excellent job.

The does are hand milked once a day and have full access to pasture and fresh water. They are fed dairy quality alfalfa hay and a nice timothy blend grass hay. In their daily grain ration, they also receive kelp, whole oats and black oil sunflower seeds.

Besides providing great tasting milk, yogurt and cheese, our goats brighten up our days with their antics and are great companions.
